Safe, secure online therapy during the Covid-19 pandemic

Counselling and psychotherapy in central Bristol

If you're unhappy about something in your life and struggling to see a way forward, you're not alone. Many of us find life challenging at times, and when you're looking for answers, talking is often the best place to start.

I'm a qualified and experienced counsellor/psychotherapist practising in central Bristol.

During the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, I'm working online using an encrypted video platform designed for healthcare professionals.
This is a safe, secure means of receiving confidential, professional counselling, therapy or support. The platform is easy to use and doesn't require you to download anything to your device. If you're unsure whether online counselling is right for you, please call me on 07949 685885 for a brief chat, or email me so we can assess your needs together.

How I work as a counsellor/psychotherapist

Talking therapy is just that - a chance to chat informally with an empathic, supportive professional who won't judge, criticise or blame. Being listened to can be hugely therapeutic for many people, but it doesn't stop there. My aim is to help you develop greater self-awareness so you can resolve your problems and live life more fully.

As an accredited BACP member (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) with many years' experience, I offer consistent, reliable support to people from all walks of life. Find out more about how I work.

For over 15 years I've been helping people who face challenges in many areas, including:

  • Stress
  • Relationships
  • Anxiety
  • Bereavement
  • Low self-esteem
  • Redundancy
  • Work and career
  • Confidence
  • Depression
  • Assertiveness

  • Loneliness during lockdown

At the height of the first Coronavirus (Covid-19) lockdown, a third of UK adults said they hadn't had a meaningful conversation for a week. Loneliness can lead to anxiety, depression and other negative mental states. Read more
